Bigge Crane Unit Placement Begins at Vallejo’s 47-unit Permanent Supportive Housing Project

HomeAid Northern California was happy to assist Firm Foundation Community Housing with the Broadway Project, a 47-unit Permanent Supportive Housing Project located in Vallejo.  The city will receive $12.1 million grant funding for the project and Factory OS is building the modular components. Mark Scott Construction is the Builder Captain and Dahlin Group is the architect who combined modular and vertical construction components to create a unique project that includes a community room, courtyard, and access to a rooftop deck. Resource Connect Solano will be doing the primary referrals for qualified residents, and we anticipate moving people into the apartments by late Fall 2023. Shelter Inc. will be managing the day-to-day operations of the Broadway Project, providing wrap-around services to residents to become stabilized as they exit homelessness.  On-site supportive services will be client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed to help participants with goal setting, life skills, financial literacy, budgeting, needs assessments, and connections to benefits and community resources.
